Confidential Analytical Testing - Methods and Prices

Pricing is per sample tested. Normal processing time is three to five working days (M-F).

Rush processing for special circumstances, such as when product is on "hold" or during a recall. Rush processing fees are twice the normal cost. The following rush testing is available in the FARRP Analytical Lab.

  • Next day rush testing, in which a report is issued by the end of the next business day (M-F) after receipt of the samples into the lab, is available for the following allergens: almond, coconut, egg, gluten, hazelnut, histamine, lupine, total milk, mustard, peanut, sesame and soy.
  • Three business day (M-F) rush testing, in which a report is issued by the end of the 3rd business day (M-F) after receipt of the samples into the lab, is available for the following allergens: Buckwheat, Cashew, Clam, Macadamia, Pecan, Pistachio and Walnut.

*Please note: rush testing may be delayed if samples are not received before noon CST, there are questions about sample integrity (compromised/damaged), there are identification discrepancies between the analysis request form and the identification codes on the sample as received, issues experienced during processing or analysis, etc. Potential delays in the turnaround time will be communicated with each client.

FARRP uses both its own assays as well as commercially available test kits.
