This group comprises animally foods (e.g. meat from beef, chicken and frog), animal derived foods (honey) and fungus derived foods (e.g. mushrooms, textured mycoproteins) which occasionally have been reported to trigger allergic reactions.

While individuals may develop allergic reactions to meat from beef or chicken independently of a sensitisation to milk or eggs, reactions to frog meat are commonly associated with allergy to the fish allergen parvalbumin. Allergic reaction to honey may be cause by the presence of either plant (e.g. pollen) or bee (e.g. bee venom) proteins.

Allergy to mushrooms and other fungus-derived products (e.g. textured mycoproteins) have been reported but seem to be rare. Processed myoprotein products like - QuornTM' might contain "hidden" allergens (e.g. egg proteins) for technological reasons.
